Advocacy in the policy realm
August 7th, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM SummaryThis training will build on the strengths we already have as advocates. We will identify ways we can apply our skills in the public policy realm. To those ends, we will review how a bill becomes a law, discuss the importance of our voices in the public policy arena, and practice talking with legislators and staff in service of our missions and goals.
