Come learn more about the relationship between sexual violence and mental illness, the short and long-term impacts of sexual violence on mental health, and increase your understanding of symptoms and best practices in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Presenter

Dr. Emily Ketterer

Dr. Ketterer is a resident in both Psychiatry and Family Medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with a background in women’s health policy. She is interested in the intersections of physical and mental health and does research in family planning decision-making and questions of capacity among women with serious mental illness.

Audience

This training is open only to PA Sexual Assault Center staff.

A request for continuing education has been submitted to NASW. If approved, 6 CE's will be available for this training (at the cost of the attendee).
